Osmeña Peak

Osmeña Peak is the highest point in Cebu, Philippines. It is located in the Municipality of Dalaguete in the province of Cebu. The peak is approximately 1,000 meters above sea level which is part of the Mantalungon mountain range . Unlike the Chocolate hills of Bohol, the peaks are thinner, pointed and rocky with the panoramic view of the southwestern coastline of Cebu, and one can also see the province of Negros Oriental. The mountain range is accessible to hikers all through out the year with an entrance fee of 20 pesos.
Reaching the Osmeña Peak is quite an adventure. It entails a 2-hour drive from Cebu City and long winding roads. But once you get there, one can enjoy the fresh air, the green meadows, the strike of the sun and the painting-like view.
